Congratulations! Your wedding is so close! You are about to marry the love of your life and I want to make sure that your day is flawless & seamless! Preparing for your wedding day is both exciting and can seem stressful, no worries I got you covered! Remember that this is your day, take a breath, slow down, and savor the moment.

So, here are some super simple tips on things you can do in the days and weeks leading up to help you in preparing for your Wedding Day.

Wedding preparation Checklist:

• The Dress: Have your dress (as well as bridesmaids dresses & suits/ties) steamed and ready to go. Place it in the garment bag provided by your shop (with your veil, if you have one), and any speciality hangers you have for your dress or your bridesmaids (here is a beautiful option from etsy, if you don’t have any already), and zip it up so no dust or spills can damage it! I always shoot the dress/es first, so having this ready to go will help the rest of the detail shots run smoothly. If you can, bring a portable hand steamer with you incase there are any wrinkles that need to be fixed day of.
  
• Details: Assemble all your details. Grab a box (any box) and place all your details in it as you prep and pack. On your wedding day, this is my next task after the dress so have this box readily available. Here is a checklist as you pack (you don’t need all of these, this is just a general idea as to what Bride’s & Grooms typically have.)

• Vendors: This is a great item to delegate. If you have a Wedding Coordinator, they will likely do this. If not, try to ask your Maid of Honor, mom, or a trusted friend to reach out to all your vendors the week prior to the wedding to make sure everything is on track and they don’t need any additional information from you.
  
• Timeline: Sit down with your fiancé and review the timeline that we designed to ensure nothing is forgotten and everything is in the proper order
  
• Requests: If you have any requests for your vendors: (I.e a certain song played at a certain time, a specific photo you want taken, or a change in the family formals lists, etc . . .) make sure that is communicated with adequate time for your vendors to prepare accordingly.
  
• Letters/Vows: If you are writing your own vows or doing a ‘first letter reading’ make sure to have these written and ready.
  
• Rings: Just like for your engagement session, shine up those rings and get them camera ready!
  
• Relax: As important as this day is, remember that this is a celebration to begin one of the most amazing journey’s of your life. Enjoy the celebration, enjoy your friends and family, dance the night away, drink he champagne, laugh and smile in all your photos, kiss your groom every chance you get, and breathe in the beauty of this day.
