First, this venue is stunning! Mountain views all around, a gorgeous little pond with a walk out dock, and a huge neutral wood covered barn! There is so much space at this venue! If you have a lot of guests, this is definitely a place to check out. The inside of the barn has plenty of room for dining tables, a DJ, full bar, cake table, gift table, and a dance floor! Your guests will love being able to easily go from hanging out inside the barn dancing, to right outside to have a drink and play some cornhole! Antler Ridge also allows food trucks at their venue, if that is something you are wanting.
There is a gorgeous location right in front of the lake with mountains all around where ceremonies are held. It is perfect if you are wanting the solitude and feel of the mountains for your big day. Once the sunsets, you can head over to the deck decorated with lights to mingle with the other guests. If its chilly you can relax inside the barn and grab a drink.
Antler Ridge has so much to offer, I highly recommend you check it out if you are searching for a Montrose Wedding Venue!
This may be one of the most incredible unobstructed mountain views on the Western Slope. Truly, one of the most beautiful places I’ve been honored to photograph a Wedding. Top of the Pines is a hidden gem, nestled between Ridgway and Telluride. Though, it does take a bit of navigation to get to. But, nothing that is too complicated or tricky. You do not need 4-wheel drive to get here, but I don’t recommend a super low-to-the-ground vehicle. Your average car/truck, should do just fine in non-snowy months. (If I can do it, you will be great . . . read, this Jersey girl did not a grow up a mountain driver.) Plan on about 45-50 minutes to get here from the center of town.
Top of the Pines has the most quaint and secluded area for your outdoor reception. Sweet decorated tables nuzzled right between a grove of trees allows plenty of space for guests to eat and dance! One of my favorite aspects about Top of the Pines is the long rustic porch fixed on their back of the main cabin. It made for amazing bridal portraits!
If you are looking to have EPIC mountain views, a secluded peaceful venue, and options to bring in musicians, caterers, etc . . . Top of the Pines needs to be at the top of your list. And, just wait until you see the pink and purple hues of the alpenglow on the mountains as the sun sets in the summer, absolutely inspiring! In the spring, the mountains are blue with snowy peaks and ridges!
Lock, Stock, and Barrel sits just North of Montrose in Olathe, Co. This is the perfect location for a country-rustic style wedding. It offers a classic red barn for your reception area and tons of grassy space for your guests to roam and hang out.
The sunsets at this location are gorgeous. Golden, glowy, and even some shady trees to offer something to diffuse the light if needed. Lock, Stock, and Barrel is just a 20-25 minute drive from the center of Montrose making it an awesome easy-to-find no stress option for your guests.
There is a rustic-chic bar inside the barn that is so fun for a photo backdrop, a swing that can be put up between the large double door way, and a sleek velvet sofa that makes for a really cool prop for photos as well!
If you are looking for a simple cozy, yet rustic and classy venue for your Wedding in Montrose, definitely call up Lock, Stock, and Barrel, and request a tour! The owners are always so kind and helpful and have always been so wonderful to work with!
This is a newer Wedding venue in Montrose and it is gorgeous! The main barn gives a high-end luxury feel to your day, while still maintaining warmth and comfort. Storm King Mountain ranch has gorgeous outdoor areas of tall wheat, grassy fields, and mountain views, making it an incredible place to say “I do”! They offer an amazing unique custom experience for all their couples and have rave reviews about their customer service! I’ve done more sessions at this location than probably any other location in Ridgway. Ridgway State Park is ideal for those who are wanting an epic backdrop for their ceremony and sunset photos. There is an overlook to the reservoir that is just stunning for the ceremony location. Built in seating allows for guests to be nice and close and take in all the views while you exchange vows!
There are options available for outdoor ceremonies in the lower parts of the state park. From there you can have food trucks, a DJ or band, and a full-on party to celebrate with your family and friends! This venue is a relatively low-cost option for a venue. Since, it is not labeled as a wedding venue, there will be some DIY options. Tables, center pieces, decorations, etc. . .
Ridgway State Park is about a 30 min drive from the center of Montrose. It is a super easy smooth drive, has easy access to the park, and is not a complicated route at all. It sits right along highway 550. The Dutch Charlie exit is the one you will want to tour for your Wedding day!
When the sunsets, the glow on the mountains is breathtaking! We will create some magic with you in your beautiful wedding gown and your handsome new hubby dancing in front of those glowy epic mountains!
