Bridges Golf Course Montrose Wedding

This Bridges Golf Course Montrose Wedding was beautiful. Nick and Barbara were just so sweet and just thrilled to be tying the knot starting the rest of their lives together.

Barbara originally from France, was so excited to marry the love of her life. She was sharing some of their story with me and it was so beautiful. Nick and Barbara had to apart like so many others, due to the pandemic in 2020. Separated countries away, they couldn’t see each other for over 2 years. You can see why they were so eager to finally be together!

The Bridges Golf Course is an awesome local golf course right in Montrose. Their restaurant, Remington’s, offers fine dining and cocktails with an incredible view of the San Juan Mountain range. My husband and I love sitting on their patio enjoying some live music and appetizers in the summer months.

Nick and Barbara had a micro wedding, a small and simple, beautiful ceremony. They were surrounded by loved ones and when she walked down the aisle to ‘God Bless the Broken Road’ by Rascal Flatts, I may have chocked up a bit.

We took some gorgeous sunset photos later that evening. However, we did have 55+ mph wind gusts during that time. They were total rockstars during the storm, and we had a blast laughing at how chaotic the wind got! Barbara called it ‘extreme photography’ and I think she was spot on!

If you new to the term ‘micro wedding’ that’s okay! It’s a fairly new concept. A micro wedding literally just means a smaller wedding celebration. Your day can still look like and include whatever you’d like. Most include a small ceremony, 10-30 guests, a dinner or cocktail hour, cake, and a small reception. It is truly just a smaller scale wedding! You can still get a dream bouquet (I actually recommend it), a gorgeous dress, decorate in your style, and invite your most favorite people.

Whatever you choose for your wedding day, remember to let it reflect you and your love, and the life you want. I love that Barbara and Nick chose this beautiful Bridges Golf Course Montrose Wedding to reflect theirs.
