Ask yourself a few questions:

-What am I going to do with these photos?
(I.e display in your home, use images to send out as invitations or holiday cards, use for business purposes?)

-What ‘feel’ do I want for these photos?

-What time of year am I (or the people in my group) most comfortable?

So here’s the deal…we can get amazing photos regardless of what time of year it is.

Fall is the most popular time. We all love it, right? The colors are vibrant, leaves scattered everywhere, perfect temperatures, crisp air…it’s pretty great. So if fall is your jam…fall it is!

My personal fave? (you asked in your mind, right?) Spring/Summer… the first blooms of spring are just beautiful! The lighting is soft and even, the colors are bright and airy, and the green everywhere is just gorgeous. No need to bundle up, no need to wear layers of heavy sweaters, or try to get out of work early to beat the sun coming down so quickly.

If you are a lover of snow and want that winter wonderland background…I’ve got my coat and gloves ready, and would love to give you those white glistening photos.

Overall, think about what you want from these photos…if they are going to hang in your home, think about the colors of what you’d like in the background.
