Sometimes I book a session and it just pulls on the heartstrings. This is one of them! This was an adoption session. He was looking for someone to love him and she was looking for someone to care for and love. They are completely adorable together! Both of their lives are forever changed because they found each other.

In previous blogs I’ve mentioned Kin Connect, which is a local foster care agency headed by a sweet friend of mine Rebekah- you can read about her amazing agency and all the lives she is changing here. She matched these two up and it’s a pretty sweet story. She is doing incredible work and such an asset to our community.

During this session, Brenden was so full of energy and life. And guys . . . when he looked as his mama- his eyes were filled with such adoration and love that I melted a little. I’m using this session as more proof for my claim that I truly have the best job in the world. Capturing these moments is so important, being able to look back and see how much love and emotion was present at a certain time in your life is incomparable to just the memories that slowly fade with time.
