Late fall senior session with Bree for the win! Sometimes late fall can be dark and drab, but we sneaked in some gorgeous fall colors and a little sun even came out for us for a couple minutes, so we took full advantage.
Bree is a natural in front of my camera. Earlier this year, I met Bree when I was the photographer for her father’s wedding. So, I was really looking forward to working with her again and getting to know her better.
We took these photos in the late fall on an overcast day. It was chilly and the colors were a bit darker than your typical autumn photo session but the photos came out beautiful! I loved getting to know Bree and chatting with her about her plans to go to cosmetology school and possibly open up her own salon somewhere on the Western Slope one day.
Honestly, it was so easy and natural working with Bree, we joked about how different my senior photos were from hers, reminisced about her dad’s wedding, and just overall enjoyed getting to know each other more.
I was loving the outfits she chose, though I’m confident that she could pull anything off. Her choices reflected her style, interests, and were perfect for her. A perfect reminder to be yourself in ALL of your photo sessions. Do not choose an outfit that is trendy but doesn’t feel like you, there is no pressure in wearing what your peers wear, or trying to squeeze into something that isn’t comfortable for you. You will look your best when you feel your best. (Read that again)
