When should you book your photographer? It’s one of the first questions couples ask—and the answer can make a big difference in your planning experience. Booking 6–12 months in advance is great, and if you already have your venue secured, 12+ months is even better.

6–12 months in advance is great.
12+ months is even better—especially if you already have your venue locked in.
Your wedding photographer isn’t just someone who shows up with a camera. We’re part of the process. We help shape your timeline, walk with you through the planning, and make sure your day is captured exactly how you remember it—plus all the parts you didn’t even see happening.

Couples who book early?
They’re often the ones showing up to their engagement session calm, ready, and actually enjoying the process. We have time to talk through timelines, location ideas, outfit options—you name it.
On the flip side, I’ve had couples reach out late in the game—sometimes just a couple months out—only to find out their dream weekend is already gone. They either end up paying more, scrambling for someone last-minute, or picking a less-than-ideal weekend for them or their guests.
📅 I still have a few weekends open in mid–late September 2025

If you’re starting to plan your day—or even if you’re just pinning ideas—I’d love to chat. Let’s get your dream date on the calendar and make this thing official.
