This engagement session at Ridgway State Park had it all! Que the beautiful sunsets, golden glowing mountains, clear skies, a sweet beautiful couple, and plenty of laughs, it was gorgeous.
Ya know what else is amazing? Being able to capture my clients through all of their adventures. Documenting the biggest landmarks and moments in their lives. That is truly amazing.
I captured this young man’s senior photos, as well as his two sisters (the sweetest girls you ever met btw), and an extended family session. Now, his engagement to his beautiful fiancé, and their wedding to follow.
I love doing engagement sessions at Ridgway State Park. Remarkably, depending on the season and the exact spots we choose, it can look vastly different. It’s variety of breathtaking backdrops is one of my many reasons I love this area. We took these in late March so it was still a little chilly and the infamous Western Colorado wind was just starting it’s high season. But, as always the views are immaculate and when the sunsets on the mountains you can’t help but stare in awe of the golden colors.
Working with JD again I was reminded of what a gentleman he is! Chivalry is not dead people, he was so sweet to his bride-to-be. Truly, so beautiful to watch him care and interact with her. Ah, young love . . . there isn’t anything quite like it.
After taking their engagement photos I was even more excited to capture their wedding. I love sitting down with brides- hammering out all the details, hearing their wedding day dreams, and finalizing a timeline for their big day. This is so tremendously helpful in allowing wedding days to go smoothly! Charley, JD, and I made a great team here and it was a pleasure to work with them!
If you are a bride-to-be and are wondering about Wedding timelines, I have a quick read blog on some pro wedding day timeline tips.
