This Private Ranch Wedding was incredible. Cole and Jordan tied the knot on Sept 3 of 2022 on Cole’s grandmother’s private ranch. They have over 600 acres of land on their property and you could see the horizon for miles. It is one of my favorite Weddings to date.
Jordan booked her Wedding about a year in advance and it gave us the perfect amount of time to create a custom timeline, coordinate vendors, and hammer out all the details. All of my Wedding Collections come with a complimentary engagement session! However, Cole and Jordan live on the other side of the state. We coordinated a few times on an engagment session, but had crazy rain storms, a pipeline burst that Cole had to attend to, and sickness that got in the way. So, I actually met Jordan the first time in person on her Wedding Day! And, we vibed instantly.
Cole was a blast to work with as well! He was quick to roll with all the prompts and suggestions I was throwing out and was super laid back. All his groomsmen were such gentlemen and were super helpful to me all day. By sunset portrait time, we had all got to know each other pretty well, and Cole was hilarious! Honestly, my assistant and I laughed so hard the entire hour during those portraits, it was the highlight of the day. Those are my favorite Weddings. The ones where you laugh, vibe well, and in turn have stunning images from the whole day.
We got beautiful weather on their Wedding day as well. It was early fall and the temperature was perfect. However, we did have a few minutes with very light showers and wind. But, it came and went so fast! Thankfully, it was never rain or wind conditions- so it was totally manageable. All their details and attire was the perfect fall theme as well. The bridesmaids wore terracotta silk dresses and one had a darker merlot color. The groomsmen and groom all had their blue jeans, vests, and cowboy hats. And, their flowers were imported from Russia, the colors tied into their theme perfectly.
Jordan’s dress is a gorgeous western style full lace gown. In fact, the train on it got so many compliments that day. And, rightfully, so! When I look back on their day, I catch myself smiling thinking about what an awesome celebration it was!
Their wedding was catered by Blue Ribbon BBQ, which is always delicious. And, I was so grateful when Jordan came over to my assistant and myself and insisted we get inline right away and grab a plate of food. We were ready!
Overall, their Wedding was unique, full of their own style, joyful, and a perfect celebration of their love.
I would be remiss without mentioning how grateful I am every time a couple chooses me to take photos of their Wedding. It is truly an honor. I take it very seriously and can not express how much I love working together to create a dream wedding. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
