This Olathe Family Session was exactly what we were hoping for! This family is extra special to me. I have been taking their photos for eight years now! The oldest girl, Emma, is now 7. I started taking Greg and Shannon’s photos since Emma was in Shannon’s belly! What an honor!
Emma and Addie are the sweetest little girls ever! And, they get along so well. I loved hearing about what they were looking forward to in school the most this coming year! Being a small part of their journey and documenting them growing up is so special to me. I was just sitting in gratefulness during this Olathe Family session!
We did the session at the Lock, Stock, and Barrel over in Olathe. It is a gorgeous venue! I’ve shot families, weddings, and engagement sessions here and it never disappoints. I even asked the owner, if she wouldn’t mind getting the wooden swing out for us to use. She was amazing and hosed it off and hung it up for us! It made the entire session that much better. Seriously, look a these amazing swing photos! Swoon!
I’m always a big fan of letting kids just be kids during family sessions. I want the kids to have an equally fun experience as the parents. Both so your images come out amazing and show that level of comfort and also so the kids can’t wait to do photos again next time!
