This Boho Arrowhead Lodge wedding was an absolute dream, despite a rainy start to the day. Ben and Ashley embraced the weather, moving their ceremony under a tent at the venue, which worked out beautifully. Surrounded by towering trees and wildflowers, the venue definitely showed off the natural beauty of Arrowhead. Ashley was an incredibly gorgeous bride and does not take a bad picture! Seriously, not one bad one of this girl! Ben also looked so dapper and the whole day just reflected how much they love each other.
The morning rain added a cozy vibe, and by the time Ashley walked down the aisle, escorted by her grandpa, the clouds began to clear. Ben’s emotional reaction to seeing his bride was one of the day’s highlights, the look in his eyes was everything, and I love the images captured during this time. With wildflowers blooming around the tent and the forested backdrop of Arrowhead Lodge, the ceremony was intimate and heartfelt.
I loved the bridesmaids soft pink dresses, they were gorgeous and all the girls looked amazing! Ashley’s bouquet, was incredible as well! It was one of the biggest and most beautiful bouquets I’ve seen! The groomsmen were polite and helpful, I’m always so appreciative to have awesome and laidback groomsmen! They were also hilarious which made the day that much more fun!
The reception at Arrowhead Lodge was filled with love and meaning. The couple’s first dance was so emotional and sweet, and Ashley’s dances with her grandpa and mom, along with Ben’s dance with his mom, didn’t leave a dry eye in the room.
One of the details I loved most about their wedding was their guest book. One of the best ideas yet! Ben and Ashley used a wooden bench, allowing guests to sign their names and leave little notes on it. What a cool memory of the day that you could use in your yard or porch forever!
Ashley chose subtle but fun touches of boho themed decor throughout the day, feathers and flowers to add a little chic to the area were the perfect details. Her dress was also incredible. I am a sucker for a big train and hers was so elegant! The second I saw it, I knew it would make it for the best photos later that day.
One of my favorite memories of the day is when their daughter signed as a witness on their marriage certificate. You can tell she practiced and was concentrating so hard to sign her name just perfectly! Their 2 year old son was the ring bearer and their other little girl, their flower girl. Guys, they were the absolute cutest!
This Boho Arrowhead Lodge wedding, was a perfect example of how to embrace the weather and make every moment meaningful.
