I really enjoyed meeting the Michels family! We did this session at Ridgway State Park, and had some really cool scenery. The dad was a huge fan of the rustic dead tree look, so we made sure to get extra shots of that type of background.

During family sessions, I always make sure to get all the combinations of family members; dad and kids, dad and girls/boys, mom and kids, mom with girls/boys, mom and dad, the whole family, individual, just kids, etc . . . You’ll be surprised how often you want to use them. Think fathers/mothers day, Christmas cards, invites, etc . . . It will be so nice to have these photos on hand when you want them!

The kids were so sweet and patient during the session, even the little guy! I’m always grateful for sweet families and the opportunity to serve them.
