This Montrose mother-daughter session was just the sweetest! I had the pleasure of photographing Emily, her adorable 2-year-old daughter, and even grandma jumped in for a few shots. We met up at the Airbnb they rented for the week, which had the most stunning views of the mountains. They had plans to explore Telluride and Ouray during their stay and were so excited to just be together for the week!
Stella was such a delight! At 2 years old, she was full of energy and curiosity, and we had so much fun just letting her be herself. One of the highlights was when we put on the Bluey theme song (who doesn’t love bluey?!?), and she started jumping around with the biggest smile on her face. It was the perfect way to capture her personality, and those candid shots are some of my favorites.
Emily, the mom, was just so kind and easygoing. She made the session relaxed and fun, which is always a plus when you’re working with a little one! Grandma was not only sweet but also super helpful—she even helped me get my truck unstuck from the deep gravel driveway. We all had a good laugh about that, and it just made the whole experience that much more memorable.
Emily and her little girl wore the most perfect neutral tones for this Montrose mother-daughter session. This session had everything I love about family photography—genuine moments, a beautiful location, and lots of love. I’m so happy to have captured these memories for Emily and her family, and I can’t wait for them to look back on these photos and remember this fun trip.
