This Snowy Family Session was extra special and extra eventful! But first, I have to mention how much I LOVE this family! They are the best. I took Tim + Jordan’s engagement photos, photographed their wedding, maternity and now family photos! Yes, this is absolutely one of the best parts of my job!
So, about this snowy family session. It was gorgeous! We met at Cero Summit Pass between Montrose and Gunnison, however . . . it was much more snow packed than any of us had anticipated. Long story short, my truck got stuck. Which resulted in, Tim, Jordan, and some very kind strangers trying to push us out of the snow and up the hill. Which, was unsuccessful. So then, it was a call to my very kind neighbor (shoutout to DJ and Kim and their new awesome jeep) and my husband. It was a whole situation, but at the end of the day- all was well and I again realized how extremely grateful I was for such awesome friends and clients!
All that to say, the session was fantastic! It was a bit cold, but their little boys did amazing! Tim and Jordan always photograph so well! And now, their little boys too! We got some beautiful images, in a relatively short time.
If you’re a photographer and you’re reading this, heres a few tips when shooting in the snow.
We laughed at the end of this session at the whole situation. That’s how you know your photographing the right people. They were great about all of it, and I am so grateful for that.
Here are some more of my favorites from this snowy family session.
