I agree with my clients, you’re never too old to do a cake smash! Especially when you are mourning the end of your twenties! This session was so much fun. We laughed most of the time and had a blast.

We chose to do this session in the early spring under the cherry blossoms, it was perfect! We broke it down into two segments: A mourning of the twenties with a black dress and dark feel and then a fun cake smash welcoming her into her thirties. Dani’s friend came along (and also treated her to this session & baked her smash cake, so sweet!) and was so helpful with carrying all the props, setting up the balloons, navigating the wind, etc . . .

I feel like these older cake smash sessions are a fairly new trend. They are so fun and so diverse! You can do them so many ways. I really liked how casual the feel was to this session, we really just had fun with it the whole time! I think you’ll be able to tell from the photos how much we were all enjoying ourselves.
