I loved this Montrose Senior Session. Brekin is hilarious! As in, we laughed from start to end. He is so funny and I love that he is himself. This kid is going places, no doubt. I can’t wait to see where his journey leads him.
We did his senior session in Cornerstone, which is a beautiful sectioned off area right outside of Montrose with extremely gorgeous homes right on an amazing golf course. This area is not open to the public and is gated with a entry code and permission based access only. Billy, Brekin’s dad, is currently building a home up there so we got to use the property.
I always suggest solids and neutrals or softer colors for photo sessions, especially seniors- and Brekin did great with choosing some great shirts for his session.
Cornerstone still had tons of wildflowers in the fields. It was so pretty! I love the topography of this area. There are hills with wildflower fields, grooves of aspen trees, small streams running through, and an awesome view of the san Juan mountains. It really can’t be beat.
Brekin plays both golf and basketball, and excels at them! His girlfriend and mom both joined us on the photo session, and they were both great at getting him to laugh and smile during his session.
As always, bring along someone for your session that can bring out the best in you! The more help the better. Those closest to you, know what makes you smile and how you look and feel your best. This is a huge asset on any session, but especially during senior portraits!
