My ‘job’ allows me to meet people from all around the world. It’s such an awesome perk! This family, now residing in Montrose, CO is so sweet. The mother is originally from South Africa, and I loved her accent! I’ve had the opportunity to photograph their family a couple times now. The first time was in the middle of a snow storm right out on their property, it was gorgeous. This time we ventured out into the beautiful fall foliage.

Their little girl is so adorable, her smile was contagious! She was happy and cheery the entire session! It was a dream! This spot is also one of my favorites during the fall. It has beautiful brick arches, wooden bridges, streams, and vibrant trees that change every autumn color imaginable. It’s lovely!

During the session I asked their daughter if she would pick up some leaves and throw them up in the air, she was so excited! I love the joy you can see on her face in these photos. I’m pretty sure she captured how we all feel when the temperatures drop a little, the leaves change, and the smell of pumpkin spice is in the air.
