Hey there, friends! Spring is here on the Western Slope. I love capturing Colorado spring photos. Nature bursts into life now. One thing, I’ve learned since living here: this season is short, beautiful, and refreshing!
Spring transforms Colorado. Wildflowers start their bloom in vibrant fields, though they won’t overtake them until mid-summer usually. Trees regain their leaves and color. Usually, the apple orchards are filled with the most beautiful pink and white blooms all over the trees! I always try to catch these before the wind picks up and blows them off. These blooms only last 1-2 weeks at most and I usually book them quickly!
The light is soft and dreamy in spring. Early mornings and late afternoons glow with warmth. Golden hour makes every image magical. This is where Colorado spring photos bring an extra special whimsical feel. We are all finally ready for the warmer temps, longer days, and the fresh air.
Spring brings fresh beginnings and new energy. I’m always ready for a fresh start and spring always helps my natural energy. That first day of 65+ degrees, sun on my skin, and it not getting dark until after 7:00 pm always helps put me in a better mood. Colorado Spring photos are a great way to bring in the new season, and capture the season you are in!
Spring on the Western Slope is brief. The wind plays a big role in the season. It can get chilly quickly and swipe blooms off trees. Do not hesitate to book your session. Sometimes those blooms last only a week or two!
I explore hidden gems across Colorado. Each location offers a unique backdrop. Scenic trails, secret meadows, and mountain tops- that all impress.
Spring is a magical time in Colorado! Let’s create unforgettable Colorado spring photos together!
I can’t wait to work with you this spring!
