My favorite ever Photographer Branding Session! My amazing and talented friend Jayna, is also a local photographer here on the Western Slope and we decided it was time to swap sessions and update our own headshots. We had a blast!
We actually had SO much fun doing these, that we’ve done a few mini ones since. Anytime the two of us are together, we laugh so hard until we cry. Sometimes it’s because we joke how stark different we are. She shows up in the cutest long dresses with fancy hats wanting to listen to 80’s tunes and I’m right next to her with my ripped skinny jeans, white shirt and tattoos, jamming out to 90s music. She shoots dark and moody and I love the light and airy style. Yet, we get along so well and compliment each other perfectly. Our families have a blast together and we’ve had many nights hanging out on our patio’s with a fire, enjoying the simple things in life.
Since the blog is mainly about Jayna, I’m going to urge you to check out her work. She’s the best at what she does. Lifestyle and seniors are her speciality and she captures those moments in a way that is truly amazing.
Jayna has 4 kids, I have 5. So when we get together- its a circus. A beautiful, wild, loud, snack-eating, crazy, perfectly imperfect circus. Whether it’s tea parties, late nights grilling and sipping on a margarita, lunch dates, or driving around scouting out new locations for sessions, we are always having fun together, living our best life.
This session was especially fun. We went to Grand Junction for the day, scouting new venues and did our best to time it just right for the drive home. And did just that! We pulled over on and went into the desert for these! The sunset was dreamy, and I was in love with the color of her second dress!
