This Ridgway Engagement Session was gorgeous! This sweet couple flew in from Los Angles, California to spend time with family and search for the perfect Wedding Venue here in Montrose, Colorado.

I’ve been taking photos of Marissa’s cousin, Taryn, for a few years now. When she referred me and asked if I was available I was so excited. Tyler and Marissa were only in town for a short while so we snagged my only open date that week and went up to Ridgway State Park to take some dreamy Engagement photos!

Tyler is a firefighter in LA and Marissa works as a children’s life advocate. They are incredible sweet together and we had so much fun taking these photos! They were willing to go along with all of my crazy ideas, and they executed them so well!

If you have an upcoming Engagement session coming up and are stuck on what to wear. I’ve got you! Follow these Basic do’s and don’t’s as a start! Reminder to make sure you, feel like you, during your session- by choosing clothes that reflects that. So, if dresses are you thing, go for it. If you are more of the cute jeans and a top kinda girl, that will work great too. If you want to do one of each? PERFECT. Options are always good!

Engagement sessions are always a blast. Getting to know the proposal story, how you met, your big wedding day plans is so cool. Each couple is so unique in all of those aspects, I love it!
