I'm a Jersey girl living in the Colorado mountains- I'm a sucker for glowly light and deep conversations over a glass of whiskey . . .

Meet Ashley

There is something extra special about maternity sessions. Becoming parents is life changing and every time I get to capture a glowing expecting mother I fall in love with my career all over again.

This session was incredible. I have been honored to capture this couple’s biggest life’s moments- starting with their engagement, to their wedding day, maternity, and most recently their sweet new baby boy, Thatcher. What an awesome experience, to capture Tim & Jordan’s journey. They are also so fun to work with. Tim is always making us laugh and Jordan and I always have something interesting we are discussing!

We had to reschedule this session a few times because our Colorado spring weather was not cooperating. If you aren’t familiar with our March-June weather here on the Western Slope. IT IS A TEENY BIT WINDY. I’m not going to lie, it gets old and annoying real fast. On the day of this session we had some wind, but mainly overcast skies. I’m not even mad about it because the photos came out so dang beautiful and Jordan and Tim are just completely glowing over their new little guy.

We took their maternity photos at a nearby park and found some beautiful areas with little to no visitors. The colors of her dress was perfect and she was so excited to wear an additional maternity dress that I brought for her. She looked gorgeous as always.

I think one of my favorite details of this session is how Tim is looking at Jordan and their new baby. You can just feel how excited he is and how much he is looking forward to being a dad. That has to be one of the most pure and beautiful emotions to capture.

Check out some of my favorites from their maternity session.
