I’ve had the privilege of photographing this family for 4 years now. I always get excited when Katie messages me for her annual session! Every year she has an awesome theme for their photos. This year it was girls & goats, (yes, you read that right). And, it was adorable! The girls were dressed in jean dresses with pink tutus and pearl necklaces!

The Alexander’s a 4H family and these goats are their personal show goats. They are well taken care of and trained. We did this session on their family’s property. As soon as I saw the horse corral I knew that’s where I wanted to shoot. There was a beautiful orchard behind it and wildflowers growing all over. Katie was busy keeping the horses away from us, and we had help keeping the goats in line, while I took the photos. This was a whole coordinated production, guys. I literally couldn’t have produced these images without all their help!

This property also had a couple bridges, fields, a stream, and the sunset was beautiful! If you would have told me 10 years ago that I would be taking professional photos of girls in tutu dresses, with their goats, in a horse field I would have told you that you’re crazy! But, here we are- and I couldn’t love this life and my ‘job’ anymore!
